About the Author
Award winning author Matt Andrus is a native of the Pacific Northwest. Born in 1964, he is a child of the seventies and thus grew up in an era when classic paranormal entities, such as UFOs, Bigfoot, and the Loch Ness Monster, were coming into their own.
Fascinated by the unusual, he haunted libraries, always looking for the next book on the weird and unknown, hoping to find proof of the paranormal.
And though he is skeptical nowadays, he still finds examples of the supernatural interesting. And he thinks that someone exposing the truth behind unusual phenomena would be the basis for an exciting thriller series. His debut novel, UFO, recently took first place in the Chanticleer International Book Awards contest in the global thriller category.
One of his favorite pastimes; researching his next project while Tokyo, the family cat, lends support.
